The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) is a dynamic, non-profit trade association. NAFA members include air filter manufacturing, sales and service companies along with HVAC and indoor air quality professionals across the United States and in 12 foreign countries. NAFA enhances the level of professionalism and knowledge within the air filtration industry. NAFA's membership includes most major filter manufacturer's from around the world, including Filtration Group (incorporating Filtrair)
The Mission Statement of NAFA is to conduct education and certification programs for members and end-user personnel; to provide forums for the exchange of information about technical standards, government regulations and product information; to educate end-users about the importance of air filtration and NAFA’s certifications; to certify air filtration products; to set field performance standards for products; and to explore ways to increase business for NAFA members.
Various programs are undertaken by NAFA in an effort to maintain high levels of professionalism within the industry. These programs include education, certification, publications, meetings and technical seminars.
Of course as part of NAFA, Peregrine Industries is bound by a code of Ethics.
The NAFA Creed and Code of Ethics reflects the membership’s commitment to conduct business to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. All members must commit to this code in order to join NAFA.
We are currently the only NAFA member company in Australia. As such, we are clear in our objectives to promote the air filter industry in Australia. We will lift the profile of our industry and educate the market on the importance of air filtration.
We will also endeavour to increase the understanding of air filters and their importance. We will follow the Code of Ethics, which includes the clause that states, “We will be honest, accurate, and forthright in our advertising”. Which is obviously an issue currently facing customers in our market. |
