About Us

Peregrine Industries Pty. Ltd. was established in 1984 as a HVAC filter service company. Since that time we have progressed to become a nationally present manufacturer and supplier of filtration products to protect indoor environments and sophisticated plants and machinery from harmful ingress of natural and inorganic dust and other solid contaminants.

Peregrine started manufacturing air filter products in 1985. Since then we have continually developed our manufacturing processes and suppliers of raw materials. In 1996 we recognized a deficiency in the quality and consistency of filter media available within our local market, and as such we started investigating to determine the best filter media that was available anywhere in the world. This search lead us to Filtrair B.V. in the Netherlands.

After many negotiations and visits to the Netherlands we became the Australian distributors for the best manufacturer of filter media anywhere in the world - Filtrair B.V. in the Netherlands.

Filtrair B.V. is globally-present and recognized as a specialist supplier of synthetic fibre-based air filter media and a leading supplier of high efficiency air intake filtration materials to public buildings, plants, gas turbines and Automotive Manufacturing facilities.

Filtrair have modern state-of-the-art machinery and fabrication methods, as well as advanced research and development facilities. They are certified to world quality control systems ISO-9001. This combined with our skilled and qualified staff has enabled us to produce and supply high quality, environmentally friendly products and offer great value for money in the process.

Recently we have further added to our range by expanding our worldwide network to include Filtration Group from the US.

Since 1942, Filtration Group has been committed to the air filtration industry. They have evolved into a leading broad line manufacturer of filtration products for the HVAC, Gas, Dust, Liquid and High Purity filter markets. As the largest privately held filtration manufacturer in North America, they are committed to customer service and quality products. Filtration Group currently have 17 manufacturing facilities throughout North America and Canada and are also certified to world quality control systems ISO-9001.

We here at Peregrine Industries have noticed a big void in the Australian Market for quality air filtration products.  As such we have recently decided to spread our wings into the South Australian and Queensland markets, so that our customers in these states can experience the high levels of service and unrivalled product range and quality that our Victorian customers have grown used to over the last twenty-five years.

In July 2007, Peregrine Industries (SA) Pty. Ltd. opened it's doors ready for business.  And has already gained some key customers in the local market. 

More recently we have also added to our distribution network by welcoming MaxPro Distributors in NSW and Bluestream Group in Queensland to our expanding market coverage.

In early 2008 Peregrine became the first company to manufacture welded pocket filters in Australia by launching our revolutionary EcoWeld range (as featured in FM magazine).  This new range of products allows Australian consumers the ability to gain access to world class filtration that was only ever available by purchasing high priced fully imported products (see our EcoWeld press release here)

In 2008 Peregrine Industries became the only Australian company to join NAFA (National Air Filtration Association) the pre-eminent air filter association in the world.  As such, Peregrine are bound by the NAFA code of ethics and have access to the most up-to-date source of information on our industry across the globe (see our article on NAFA membership in the NEWS section of our website).

In mid 2008 Peregrine Industries Peregrine Industries was proud to announce that we now have the only Certified Air Filter Specialist in Australia. Simon Doyle has added to his already impressive resume of qualifications (which includes a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University along with more than 20 years experience in the air filter industry, as well as regularly attending industry training seminars and conventions in both Europe and the United States of America), by successfully completing the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) Certified Air Filter Specialist course. As you can see, we at Peregrine Industries pride ourselves on high quality products, professional advice and fast efficient service. We are proud to continue to service our existing customers as we have done in the last 20 years, and are looking forward to offering this same service to all new and existing customers into the future.
