GEOPLEAT™ MINI-PLEAT AIR FILTERS

DESCRIPTION

The new GeoPleat air filter has been developed to provide a high level of air filtration in a wide variety of applications. The GeoPleat mini-pleat air filter utilises a thermal embossing pleating and glue bead media separation techniques, which create a three-dimensional pleat in the media. This patented method of pleating and spacing allows the air stream to gently transition into the media, distributing the air evenly throughout the depth of the media.

The media pack of the GeoPleat air filter is adhesively bonded to the filter frame on all four sides, eliminating the possibility of air bypass around the filter media.

BENEFITS

Low Air Flow Resistance – The GeoPleat’s patented pleating design creates the lowest pressure drop, for a given efficiency, available in rigid box filters. The low-pressure drop of the GeoPleat leads to considerable energy and cost savings in most HVAC systems.

Long Filter Life The ideal V-shape of the GeoPleat’s mini-pleat media pack enables complete media utilisation. The media loads evenly throughout the depth of the pleats, maximising the life of the filter.

No Aluminium Separators – The GeoPleat mini-pleat air filters use a glue bead pleat separating technique, instead of corrugated aluminium separators. The glue bead is completely adhered to the media and has no sharp edges, eliminating the threat of damage to the filter media during the shipping, handling, installation and operation of the filter.

Lightweight – The extreme lightweight of the GeoPleat mini-pleat air filter makes it much easier on the installer to transport,

install and remove the filter, especially in applications with space constraints or roof-top air handling units.

Robust Media – The filtration media utilised in the GeoPleat filter is tremendously resistant to tears and punctures. The rigid pleat pack requires no upstream or downstream grids to protect the media from damage. The media is also resistant to moisture and microbial growth.

FEATURES

  • Advanced pleat geometry for even dust loading and maximum service life.
  • Very low resistance to air-flow results in lower energy costs
  • Lightweight – easily disposed
  • Robust filter media resists tearing or damage
  • Available in F6 (MERV 11), F7 (MERV 13) and F8 (MERV 14) (per ASHRAE standard 52.1 and 52.2)
  • Easily upgrade filtration efficiency without costly hardware modification
  • High efficiency in 100mm space saving design Ideal for situations where in-line space is limited but higher efficiency filtration is still required.
  • Compact design requires less handling, storage and shipping costs
  • No aluminium spacers to damage the filter media
  • Can withstand 100% relative humidity
  • Conforms to U.S. and EU fire classification standards (UL 900-class 2)

SERVICE/MAINTENANCE

Service and maintenance can also be carried out by Peregrine Industries' trained service technicians if required (ask our representative about our competitive service/maintenance contracts to all types of HVAC and airconditioning filters).
