Why a Pocket Filter?

Extended surface pocket filters, also called bag filters, are one of the most popular air filters in use today. Pocket filters offer large media area for superior dust holding capacity and lower pressure drop.

Pocket filters are effectively used in applications where in-line space is not an issue and high dust holding over extended periods is required. The benefit being improved Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) at your facility.

  1. Welded Seams

    Provides a superior seam Provides a superior seam compared to traditional stitched seamed pocket filters.
  2. Aerodynamic Design

    Each filter pocket is dynamically balanced by design for minimal resistance to airflow and high dust holding capacity.
  3. Longitudinal Separator Strips

    Each pocket is separated from the surrounding pockets using specially designed separators to prevent the pockets from rubbing together and becoming damaged. These separators also prevent “blinding” of the filter media thus increasing the effective filtering area leading to high dust holding capacity and lower resistance to airflow.
  4. Integrated Header Frame

    Pockets are attached to an integrated header frame creating a rigid uniform pocket opening. Allows for easy installation and a perfect seal every time.
  5. Superior Media

    Filtrair’s high performance filter media is used to construct the EcoWeld. Superior performance, reduced resistance to airflow. Better value for money. Reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
